About the chalet

The Chalet features 5 guest bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom. When staying as a guest in one of our private rooms, you can enjoy the common areas of the chalet featuring: a living room with a fireplace, a butler’s pantry with coffee, tea and water, a formal dining room, and a 1,000 + square foot wrap around deck with panoramic mountain views. The chalet is fully equipped with fiber optic, high-speed wifi. Additionally, there is an option to rent the whole chalet.

    OUR VERY OWN WITCH WINDOW

    Situated in the original 1840s part of the property, the Encore room features our very own “witch window” - the name stemming from a folk belief that witches cannot fly their broomsticks through tilted windows. Further, the Encore room features mountain views, wide plank pine flooring, a king-size bed, a daybed / trundle that accommodates up to two children & private bathroom with a walk in-shower. A 9% VERMONT STATE LODGING TAX WILL BE APPLIED TO ALL BOOKINGS.

OCCUPANCY: ALL ROOMS, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE ENCORE ROOM HAVE AN OCCUPANCY OF TWO. AN EXTRA GUEST FEE OF $25.00 / NIGHT FOR WILL APPLY FOR ADDITIONAL GUESTS, UP TO FOUR, IN THE ENCORE ROOM.

A10% surcharge will be applied to all bookings for the following 2024 holiday / peak periods: 1/1 (New Year’s), 1/11 - 1/15 (MLK), 2/15 - 2/19 (President’s Day), 5/23 - 5/27 (Memorial Day), 7/3 - 7/8 (4th of July), 8/29 - 9/2 (Labor Day), 9/27 - 10/28 (peak leaf season), 11/20 - 11/26 (Thanksgiving), 12/22 - 12/31 (Christmas and New Year’s Eve). And the following 2024 holiday / peak periods: 1/1 (New Year’s), 1/11 - 1/15 (MLK), 2/15 - 2/19 (President’s Day), 4/4 - 4/9 (Solar Eclipse), 5/24 - 5/27 (Memorial Day), 7/3 - 7/7 (4th of July), 8/30 - 9/2 (Labor Day), 11/26 - 12/1 (Thanksgiving), 12/20 - 12/31 (Christmas and New Year’s Eve).

WEEKENDS REQUIRE A MINIMUM TWO NIGHT MINIMUM STAY. DURING THE WEEKDAYS, WE MAY BE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE ONE NIGHT STAYS. PLEASE INQUIRE.

WE ACCEPT ALL MAJOR CREDIT CARDS, VENMO, CASH AND CHECKS.

DEPOSITS: 50% OF THE TOTAL COST IS DUE AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. THE REMAINING BALANCE IS DUE UPON ARRIVAL. FOR GROUPS BOOKING THREE OR MORE ROOMS, THE BALANCE IS DUE 14 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL.

ROOM CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellation prior to 30 days of arrival: Initial 50% deposit will be refunded Cancellation within 30 days of arrival: 50% deposit will not be refunded.

CHECK IN: From 3pm to 7pm. CHECK OUT: 10am. NOTE: If you will be arriving outside of check-in times, please contact us directly to make arrangements.
